Birthday "53"..Be Who You Are..

No matter how old I get, I can't change who I am to please anyone.I am a great loyal friend, A great Mother to my children, A great lover to the ones who had the privilege to be my companion.I am not perfect, no one on earth holds that title. I do make mistakes, I make bad choices in friends sometimes, It doesn't take me long to correct that, I think at 40 something, We should know exactly what will make us happy in our lives and don't change it because the other person wants something different. It doesn't means your standards are high, It just means you will not settle for anything less and if you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on..Trust that you are exactly where you suppose to be, It is true that God may have called you to be exactly where you are. But, it is absolutely vital to grasp that he didn’t call you there so you could settle in and live your life in comfort and superficial peace..I am at the age where, negative people don't play a role in my life,nor the self absorb. Some people are as happy as they make up their minds to be so I have to leave them be..they walk around with this image saying Excuse me, there's no pretense here. I happen to be genuinely self-absorbed and deeply shallow...I can't relate..I can say that at 53 I can walk around full of Grace..Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever...One thing I know for sure..“I will never be as young as I am today..I've come to trust not that events will unfold exactly as I want, but that I will be fine either way. The challenges we face in life are always lessons that serve our soul's growth.. I called up my old best girlfriend and we had a nice day..It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them...

Where God has his churches, the Devil has his chapels..So it seems I must have been dreaming, Forget about the life you have created for yourself since you were old enough to know what you wanted to do with your life, because 99.9% of the time it's not going as plan.
