Is Valentine's Day Highly Over Rated?

Or maybe I am saying that because I don't have a man at the moment, I don't think so. Valentine's Day like any other Holiday isn't what it use to be. I just may be getting older huh? One day my ex-husband bought me some roses. I put them in the living room. He told me later on that depending on where I placed them determined if I liked them or not. If I put them in the bedroom that means I love them .hmmmmmm. I didn't forget that, but he did catch on that I didn't care for roses or candy that much. because roses die, and candy will be eaten.  A card says a lot..I wanted something that will last. Something you can go back and look at, something that will have memories attached. I promise I just don't have anything that i can go back and  look at and say wow I remember this!!! Old dude gave me these..As I write this, I am still thinking about do I have something I can brag on right about now.,But certain things we just don't forget., When I do think about Valentines Day, may as well celebrate it, Its the only day of the year that we remembers to love, the rest of the year too busy hating.. It's good to be loved. This is the only time of year that being single has its down side.  But when I think about it, I feel the same way I felt last year and I really had a man. Some things we do require thought..When your heart is not in it, It really don't mean that much... I just wanna  dance with somebody, I want to feel the heat with somebody, with somebody who loves me..yall remember that song by Whitney Houston. See, those was some real time..1987..Yep..What was i doing in 1987 besides messing up somebody Else's life, my daughter was 3 yrs old. Her dad was married to someone else.although he became my husband in 1989....Defined Rebound? Nope not proud of who I was..Yep boobs and no brain. Now I have both..(lol lol ).. I am proud of me now..If you have a good man, I suggest you keep him..because true love stories never have endings... Right now I have my fantasy love story..."Come live in my heart and pay no rent"
