When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts
A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. No matter how old they get, My 20 yr old decided to get on a plane and go New Jersery to see his girlfriend. Well that was a first for him and me. He wanted to do this alone. His first trip his father drove him up i was ok with that, But when he told me he wanted to fly alone my mind went to the another zone. First of all we never had a long distance relationship, we always dated someone from where we lived. but this was a first in the family..We never stop being a parent. I hear folk say, well he is grown, Well technically yes, But he is still my child. I am still trying to show him the right way to do things. The worse thing anybody body can give me is advice on how to be a parent and you dont have any children, there is nothing you will be able to tell me, all the books in the world still wont get you anywhere with me.
