"Just Being Me"

God is and all is good..Welp Come April 30th I will be 52 years old, How do I feel? like I am 35..lol  Honestly I feel like this year will be the year for me. God has truely blessed me and he is still blessing me. I thank him everyday for all my family and friends, the old and the new..You know age aint nothing but a number.Really I do not feel any age yet. There is no age to the spirit...I'm not doing the same things I did last year, nor putting up with the same ole crap. I use to give people the benefit of the doubt, but folks just abuse that!! Last year about this time my blog was saying Is Valentines Day Highly Overrated? Which I think is still true, I mean why not show your Love all year round?..Is that too much for you?..This is not the time to start an argument to get out of buying a gift..Still playing those games? Well I am still single just like last year..I was ask Why are you single? Because that's the way God made me!! I'm not looking for Mr Right? I'm waiting for that which is for me..Nobody is perfect..we are have flaws..but he will love me for who I am..and vice versa. How will you know someone really loves if they only meet your expectations and not your needs? What you want isn't always what you need and what you need isn't always what you want. Therefore sacrifices have to be made in order for you to achieve true happiness..I do know that I would want a friend first, I want to get to know him and I want him to get to know me!! I never understood why we do this, and I am as guilty as the next person, People show us who they are the first time around, But we don't want to believe that's who they are, We ignore all the signs and make up the fantasy of who we want them to be, and then you have the ones that pretend to be something else. We must be careful what we pretend to be, because we are what we pretending to be..When one is pretending the entire body revolts..Almost every man wastes part of his life in attempts to display qualities which he does not possess, and to gain applause which he cannot keep..People will make you think that the grass is much greener on their side, but coming from where I'm from..just a little fertilizer might make mine look a little better,because we know no man can climb out beyond the limitations of his own character..Lets get out of the habit of trying to change people, especially if you don't even know them..I never truly believe what people say, I have to list...

Are we really alone when we have family and friends we spend the holidays with? or Is that statement talking about a mate? because surely if you're lonely when you're alone, you're in bad company.I love it when I get together with my family, We have fun talking about the good ol days. Or just joking around and eating..We have a fish fry Christmas Eve..and Christmas Breakfast..Christmas is about being joyful, thankful that you are alive and in good health,The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is  the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other “Everyone is lonely, we have to remember that life is to be lived one day at a time. You cannot worry about the past or future. Happiness is in the now, and truth be told Being alone and being lonely are two different things..Isn't it funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for - I don't know what exactly, but it's something that you don't mind so much not having at other times.....

What am I thankful for this This Year as Thanksgiving rolls around once again, You know time waits on no one, I am thankful that I am still alive, My daughter just gave birth to a 6lb 14oz baby girl..Brielle Akira, Yes I am Nana number 5..I wear it well I must say, I thank God for another blessing.
